Bemix Discovery Catering Pop-up Cafe

Enjoy delicious food and drink from Bemix Discovery Catering and their wonderful group – those with and without learning difficulties – at their pop-up cafe from 12 – 2pm.

The group come together every week at Westgate Hall’s community venue to learn skills in cooking and catering. They are supported to develop and prepare recipes, learn about healthy eating, gain skills in using kitchen equipment, work towards qualifications in hospitality and catering, and be supported to work at catering bookings and local events. This is your chance to sample what they’ve been making whilst supporting the social enterprise at the same time.

Bemix supports adults with learning difficulties to speak up and make choices that are right for them. Specifically, Bemix supports people to become more independent in learning, housing, work, health, money, travel, hobbies/activities and relationships.
