Westgate Hall and where we stand on Covid-19 – as at 17 March 2020
We have reviewed the current Covid19 in great detail as a team and with our Board of Trustees. At the heart of our organisation is community and the safeguarding of our staff, event bookers and visitors is of the highest importance to us. We are all having to adapt to a fast changing situation.
Following the Government’s guidance yesterday, we feel the only current option is to postpone events at Westgate Hall.
We have made this decision with a very heavy heart. We are in on-going conversations with our events organisers. If you have not been in contact with us yet and your event is taking place during the next 12 weeks, please do get in touch. We are looking forward to working to find alternatives for you and your events.
We would like to stress that in view of these postponements we are wanting to keeping our doors open in a different way. You can call us on 01227 634886 email us at email@example.com, message us on Facebook www.facebook.com/westgatehall, Instagram www.instagram.com/westgatehall, or on Twitter: twitter.com/westgatehall.
We intend to keep our community strong and healthy throughout so please keep in touch. Social isolation is the right thing to do, however it can also make us feel disconnected from each other.
Westgate Hall is a social venue and as such we must respect and support the government guidance:
Social distancing measures are steps you can take to reduce the social interaction between people. This will help reduce the transmission of coronavirus (COVID-19).
Please let us keep our dialogue going, keep those plans for your events, parties, fairs and celebrations alive. Together, we will work to overcome this.
Thank you for your understanding and support.
Wishing you all safety and wellness at this unprecedented time.
